Become a member:   all membership dues buy feed, hay, farrier services, and medical care for DCFHR horses  (click here for membership form).

Become a sponsor:  If you don't have a place for a horse but would like to help, sponsor one of our horses in the Green Bananas Herd, in the Golden Oldies Band, or select a horse waiting for a home.

Make a cash donation:  Cash or credit card donations can be made through PayPal (even if you don't have a PayPal account.  We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, therefore all donations are tax deductible.
         
Here is an idea of what costs we have:

          Hay = $50.00/month, October -April
          Feed = $1.50/day -- usually 50% Purina Strategy and 50% alfalfa pellets
          Dewormer = $8.00
          Farrier = $15.00 for a trim
 

Become a volunteer:  If you have a love and deep concern for horses, we need you! There is always something that must be done--grooming, feeding, cleaning stalls, building fences, trailering and so much more.  (click here for our trailering policy and trailering application)

Make a Memorial Donation:  You may make a donation in memory or in honor of an important person in your life, or for a special pet.

Call Golden Brothers Feed Company or Summit Feed, (229) 377-3030, and put money in our account to buy feed; we will pick up fresh feed at those stores.

Gift cards to Tractor Supply Company and Jeffers Equine.

Donate lead ropes, dewormer, white salt blocks, soft grooming brushes and other grooming supplies (expecially medicated shampoos for treating rain rot).

Pay for farrier visits ($15.00 for each horse's hoof trim).
