The Miracle
continues:
Read this amazing little horse's success story.
The little mare
pictured on the left was
named "Miracle" by our volunteers because it is a miracle she survived.
Miracle arrived at Dancing Cloud Farm Horse Recue in July, 2008, as an emaciated, three-year
old, covered with rain rot. Her chest measured a mere 7". She staggered, stumbled, and kept her head
down. She had a terrible respiratory infection and was so weak that she
had to lie down much of the time and could hardly eat.
Today
the
sun is shining on this beautiful,
little survivor. She is living in her forever home, knowing that
her needs are met; she is loved; and will never again suffer the pain
she once knew. "Thank you" to all of you who have given
your time and resources to help DCFHR accomplish its mission. |
